Condolence: Jo Ann was such a special person. I worked with her for many years at the school system. We had many good times. Many of us were a "work family" that were devoted to each other. She was truly a special lady and a fine christian who lived her faith every day.

Condolence: Dear Monroe, Buffy and Todd: I pray for peace and comfort during this sad time. Your family has been an extension of my family as we have gone through so much together. The marriage and death of my sister, the marriage of my brother and my marriage. JoAnn celebrated my Mom and Dad's 50th Anniversary. She has been such a blessing to my family and was there when we told Mom her cancer diagnosis. The memories go on and on. She will deeply be missed by me, but she was also in the alter with me when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and that gives me comfort that I will see her again in Heaven. She is singing in that heavenly choir with my Mom. I could always pick out their voices, no matter what choir they sang in be it Chalcedonia or New Light. Heaven surely received an angel Saturday night. Love you all so much!

Condolence: I could fill a book on what Jo Ann has meant to me and my family. She and her family have blessed my life from the day Rocky and I were married 36 years ago, as she directed our wedding and Monroe married us on that very hot June day...Buffy and Todd were so cute as the flower-girl and ring-bearer and have grown up to be wonderful people too. Jo Ann taught our church's first young-married class. She has always been such a special person, letting her light shine out to everyone she meets with such energy! I will never forget her laughter and love she shared. If not for her, I may have never had the opportunity to work for the Cherokee County School System...she helped me to get closer to home, my baby, and family. It is so sad that she is no longer with us in body, but she is in spirit, and I know God needed her in Heaven. I'll always remember her with wonderful memories! I love you Jo Ann!
