Condolence: Mrs. Payne, Brad, Kay, Connie & family,

I am deeply saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was such a wonderful person and my heart truly goes out to all of you.

I know my family will certainly be saddened to hear the news. My father (Howell Barrett) has always talked about how Bob liked to fish and each time he ran into Bob around Canton they would always promise to take a trip out and do it. I think they could have stood around and talked for hours. Over the years, my parents have always called me when they saw Mr. and Mrs. Payne out around town. I was always happy to hear about their family and how they were doing.

I had the fortunate pleasure of seeing several of the Payne family members at a restaurant a few years ago in the Town Center area and Bob was just as sweet and friendly as I remembered him from my days in the band (with Brad) at Cherokee High School. The whole family has always been so loving and welcoming to me and Bob was a big part of that - I will never forget him.

Sending all my love and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Condolence: Rosie, Brad, Kay & Connie, Heath, Heather & Tiffy,

We are so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Rosie, you and Bob are just like a second set of parents to me, you have always been so kind, and your whole family is very close to my heart. What a wonderful life Bob has had, and so blessed to know his great-grandchildren, and so blessed to be welcomed into heaven where we will all meet again someday. Grief is the evidence that we have loved and been loved. Thank God this life on earth is not the end. You are all in our prayers.
