Virginia was a joy to know. She had such a sweet smile and kind heart. She is one of those people that cross your path and your heart that you never forget. Love and prayers to her family.

Ralph and I first met Virginia and Buddy while attending Holly Springs Baptist Church in the 1960's. Their children were around the same ages as ours, and we enjoyed spending time with them. As others have said, Virginia always had a smile and was kind to everyone she met. We didn't see as much of them after they left Hickory Road Baptist, but I knew that Virginia was involved with the older folks at Mt. Zion. They were indeed blessed to have her as an encourager and companion. Ralph & Brenda Cagle

What a wonderful woman! Virginia was beautiful inside & out. Always had a warm smile to share along with a hug or word of encouragement! I have been blessed by knowing her.
I regret that I will not be able to come to the funeral. I am going to see my elderly parents this week and need to stay away from crowds. Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers as you morn your loss and also celebrate her life & homecoming.

I have been so blessed to be part of a large family, who just enjoy being together. A hard thing to do with family coast to coast, but with Ricky and Jetonne's help Buddy and Virginia always made the trip. Her warm smile and shining eyes always made me feel loved and cherished. Her laugh as Buddy kept us on our toes was infectious. While this time in life is hard, I'm so thankful for Blessed Assurance as I know that the greatest reunion of all will last for eternity. Love you all, Deb and Benje Oliver
