Condolence: I had the honor and priviledge of knowing your mother. I work at Senior Services and she was a huge part of my day when she was in attendance! She always had a smile AND a hug for me! I always loved seeing her in her matching outfits, with perfectly groomed hair and clothing, and her "earbobs" as she called them...she was so beautiful! A month or so ago, I sat and talked with her at length...she told me about the day she met her husband, about their courtship and marriage...she had tears of joy when she told me the story and I will always remember that. God bless your family...I know it''s a hard time...God and the wonderful memories that we all share of her will provide comfort. Your mother was a sweet adorable gracious lady! I will miss her!

Condolence: Larry, Robert and Leon, I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mother was such a sweet lady. She was always so kind and sweet to all of us kids growing up in the village. The precious memories of her will become even sweeter in the days ahead. May God surround you and your families in the coming days with his grace. Blessings!

Condolence: Robert, Larry, Leon and families...my heart was so saddened when I learned last night of your mother's passing!! My mind immediately raced back to our last time she and I talked--after Glory Bound's 'last performance of the original group' at First Baptist Canton in the spring/summer--she, Linda and I stood outside the church and talked for a long time while you guys loaded the bus...in fact, we were the last to leave. During our talk that night, I discovered her love of collecting lambs, and, in fact, picked one up for her soon after that, but never got it to her, sadly to say. We recalled many wonderful memories of years gone by--our days of a slower lifestyle in the Village, the days when mother was at the nursing home when your daddy was there, then he passed...I'll always remember that day as well. We go back a long time with the Reece family, our years growing up in the Mill Village together--we all seemed like family then, and continued to grow that direction with the years!! Although it's a sad time, it's a joyous time--finally, at home with your dad, and most importantly, with the Lord. Her beautiful, smiling face has to be one of the prettiest sights in Heaven today! She made it home with all her loved ones gone on, and all the many friends she had in that Mill and Village!! What a blessing you boys (and wives) have been to take great care of her...she was happy...it showed every time I saw her. We won't be able to be with you--still recovering from my latest back surgery, however, we will be right there in spirit and prayers. May God bless each of you, and wrap His loving arms of love around you all in the difficult days ahead. We love you! Let us know, if you need us. Thank you for the blessings you share in your ministry...your mother was so proud!! Love, Renay and David Phillips
