William Russell "Rusty" Padgett

William Russell "Rusty" Padgett, age 64, of Jasper, GA, passed away Friday, July 31, 2026, at Northside Hospital - Gwinnett.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, August 3, 2026, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. James Blalock and Rev. Doug Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.  

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, August 2, 2026, and from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2026, at South Canton Funeral Home.  

He was preceded in death by his dad, William Floyd "Billy" Padgett,

Survivors include:

Wife - Barbara Padgett

Son - Blaine Padgett

Mother - Doris Padgett

Sister - Michelle Hoek

Brother - Darrell Padgett

Several Nieces, Nephews, friends, and other Family members also survive.
