William Edgar Morrissey, Jr., age 64, of Newnan, GA, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital - Atlanta, GA.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Georgia National Cemetery. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, with Honors being performed by the United States Army.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at South Canton Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his father and Mother: William Edgar Morrissey, Sr. and Nancy Carol Bowman Morrissey
Survivors include:
Son - Tommy Morrissey
Daughter - Sabrina Strickland (Timothy)
Several Nieces, Nephews, friends, and other Family also survive.
In lieu of flowers, Donations are to be made to the Disabled Veterans. (See website below)
