William Lance

William Dennis Lance, age 88, of Nelson, GA passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Lanier Place Assisted Living in Cumming, Ga. He was a member and Deacon of the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Jasper, Ga. Mr. Lance was a Mason with the E. W. Hightower Lodge #679 and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans as well as all other Veteran organizations such as the American Legion and VFW. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Saturday, October 5, 2019, from the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Jasper, Ga. with Rev. Buck Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2019, and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Wife: Barbara Lance, Son: William Dennis (Billy) Lance Survivors include: Son - Donald Jackie Lance 7 - Grandchildren 14 - Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews also survive.
