William "Bill" Henis

January 31, 1958 — September 21, 2025

William (Bill) Henis died September 21 st at home due to bile-duct cancer

(cholangiocarcinoma). He was surrounded by a loving circle of family and friends.


Bill leaves behind his husband of thirteen years, Kevin McReynolds (Canton), four

children Allison Marie Henis Childers (Marietta), William (Billy) Gregory Henis (Atlanta),

Brady Galloway McReynolds (Brooklyn, NY) and Ian Keniston McReynolds (Inman,

SC), son-in-law, Brian Childers, and a daughter-in-law, Alexis Sattler. Bill’s surviving

family includes three sisters, Pat Andrasy, Joan McCrane, Doreen Ferrari; two brothers-

in-law: John Moore and Neal Ferrari, and one brother, John. Bill also leaves behind a

former spouse, Linda Barber Henis (Snellville).


Everyone who encountered Bill can attest to his sense of fun, laughter and delight. He

brought smiles wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by all those whose day

was brightened by his presence.

In his retirement, Bill greatly enjoyed his volunteer work with the wonderful group at the

Northside Hospital gift shop.
