Thomas Franklin Rhodes

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Rhodes, age 68, of Canton, Ga passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was born on July 27, 1953 in McRae, Ga. He is the son of the late Glenn Thomas Rhodes Sr. and Nell Virginia Beazley Rhodes.

Tommy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors and spending time at his Button Buck Hunting Club in Crawfordville, Ga on his family’s land. He also enjoyed fishing and being on the water in his little Jon boat.

But, above all else, Tommy’s family was his pride and joy and the most important aspect of his life. Steadfast and strong his love for them was unwavering. His family was his greatest accomplishment. He loved being home with them more than anything in the world.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kim Holland Rhodes; daughter, Abby Leigh Rhodes; son, Thomas Ray Rhodes; and grandson, Wyatt Thomas Rhodes, a number of nieces, a nephew and other extended family also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Glen Thomas Rhodes Jr. and Wendell Edmond Rhodes.

The Rhodes family will hold a private service in honor and celebration of Tommy’s life.
