Susan Tippens (Abernathy)

Susan Tippens, age 76, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Cedarhurst of Canton.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken May officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, and from 12:00 PM till the Funeral Hour, Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

Susan was preceded in death by, Parents: Lee Roy and Louise Abernathy, Sister: Linda Hames, Brother: Hugh Abernathy, Nephew: Derek Hames and Son-In-Law: James Childers

Survivors include:

Husband - N. J. Tippens

Daughter - Dee Childers

Son - Wes Tippens

Grand Daughter - Katie Childers

Grand Son - Justin Childers and wife Hayleigh

Great Grandson - James Childers

Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and other Family also survive.
