Southwest Airlines Captain - Lowell Keith Syers, II , age 51, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Assured Hospice Care. Mr. Syers retired from the Army Reserves in 2007 as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. He served as the Treasurer for 9 years for Boy Scout Troop #241 and taught Sunday School (Area 51) for 4 years at Canton First Baptist. He was a devoted husband and father. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, on Monday, July 29, 2019, from the Canton First Baptist with Rev. Cliff Pace officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, and from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday, July 29, 2019 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Sister-In-Law: Monica Cutrell Survivors include: Devoted Wife - Tonya Syers Daughter - Kelsey Renee Syers Son - 2nd Lieutenant - Jacob Luke Syers Parents -Allen Keith (Joye Sue) Syers Father-in-law & Mother-in-Law - William A.
