Sandra Doris Carter, age 87, of Woodstock, GA passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was deeply devoted to her children - her babies-and poured her love into them without hesitation. Known for never meeting a stranger, she had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and cherished. Many came to know her simply as "Nanny" and for so many, she truly was. Over the years she lovingly adopted hearts into her family, and they loved her as their own. Even in her final days, she was surrounded by that same deep love-proof of how many lives she touched and how deeply she was cherished.
All the lives she touched will forever carry a part of her in them.
