William Sam Key, age 76, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from the Canton First Baptist with Rev. Randy Brooks, and Dr. George Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Sam will Lie-In-State at the Canton First Baptist Church from 1:30 PM until the Funeral Hour at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, January 25, 2021, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Son: Marvin Key, Daughter: Kimberly Payne, Granddaughter: Samantha Paxton Survivors include: Wife - Winnie L. "Toni" Key Sons - David Key and Fred S. McClure, Jr. Daughters - Michelle Rouse, Shannon Freeman, Pamelia Pressly and Penny Trotti Brothers - Robert Key, Tommy Key, Paul Key, Kenneth Key, Wayne Key and Randall Key Sisters - Carolyn Humphries, Katherine Smith, Jeanette Greenwood and JoAnn Light Grandchildren - 13 Great Grand Children - 9 Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
