Richard E. Kinton

Richard E. Kinton, age 64, of Canton, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin. Mr. Kinton was a lover of life and people. He suffered from many health issues and lived in much pain; however, he was a spiritually strong man who loved Jesus and his fellow man. His favorite saying was, “What does love require of me?” He was the picture of joy. Mr. Kinton was a wonderful husband, father/stepfather, son-in-law, and grandfather, and he made friends everywhere he went. Richard loved scouting (Eagle Scout), sci-fi, and genealogy. He raised his own two children, three stepchildren, and was a foster parent to over 150 children. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Jared Smith from Woodstock City Church, officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at South Canton Funeral Home.
