Rev. C. W. "Dub" Burgess, age 78, of Ball Ground, GA passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Heritage Hospice. He was a member of Old Damascus Baptist Church and was a loving father and grandfather. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Friday, December 6, 2019, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Ghorley, Rev. Edwin Bishop, Rev. Bobby McFarland and Rev. Mark Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Old Damascus Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday, December 5, 2019 at South Canton Funeral Home.
