Rev. Bobby Lee Morris

Rev. Bobby Lee Morris went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Bobby was retired from Lockheed but his greatest passion was preaching and teaching God's word and serving the many wonderful people in his congregations and community. He served as Pastor of New Bethel Baptist, Grace Baptist and Sardis Baptist Church. Bobby had a beautiful voice and used it to sing God's praises.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Saturday, February 17, 2018, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Ware, and Rev. Kenny Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2018, and from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 16, 2018, and from 10:00 AM till the Funeral Hour, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Sara Pruitt Morris, Mother and Father, Audrey and James Morris, Brothers, Willard Morris, Byron Morris, Austin Morris and Edgar Morris.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Morris, Son, Steven Morris, Daughter, Donna Harris (Steve) , Daughter, Diane Roberts (Tony), and Son, Jeff Morris (Judy). Five Grandchildren, Joshua Harris, Benjamin Harris (Jessica), Marc Harris (Chelsea), Matthew Roberts (Rachel) & Bryan Roberts (Courtney). Five Great Grandchildren survive. Waylon Harris, Henry Harris, Saylor Grace Harris, Axel Roberts and Avery Roberts. Two Step Grand Children and four step Great Grandchildren also survive. His loving sister, Joyce (Jack) Pitts. Many nieces and nephews , as well.
