Ralph Hammonds

Ralph Hammonds, Jr., age 90, of Gainesville, GA passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran - Korean War. He was actively involved in church through numerous ministries including: serving as an ordained minister, deacon, bus ministry, prison ministry and Sunday School teacher.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Honors by the United States Army.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Wife: Darlene Dailey Hammonds, 2 Infant Sons: Keith and Gary Hammond, 2 Sisters: Doris and Myrtle and 2 Brothers: Hugh and Ben

Survivors include:

Daughter - Sharon and Michael Stephens

Son - Ricky and Lee Ann Hammonds

Grandchildren - Joshua and Emanuella Stephens, Jessica and Tripp Johnson and Alaina and Daniel Cook

Great Grandchildren - Sloane Johnson, Fletcher Johnson and Whit Johnson
