Nettie Allene Pettit

Nettie Allene Pettit, age 82, of Canton, GA passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Canton and a member of the American Legion Auxillary. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from the Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Sheffield, Rev. Mike Ware and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no public visitation prior to the Graveside Service. Survivors include: Husband - Claude Pettit Son - Tim (Sue) Pettit Daughter - Angela (Michael) Holzman Sister - Virginia (Lee) Wynn Grand Daughters: Stephanie (Matt) Forman, Melissa (Jeremy) Hughes and Kimberly Kirtland Grand Sons: Khole Brandner and Sam Holzman Great Grand Children: Bradley (Kaylee) Forman, Brittany (Christopher) Ghorley, Brandon Forman, Brayden Forman, Slade Hughes, Baby Hughes, Hunter Brooks and Jaxson Brooks Great Great Grand Children: Peanut and Mia Ghorley The family is accepting flowers or donations can be made to the Oakdale Baptist Church Building Fund in her memory.
