Michael Dewayne Morris

February 15, 1958 — January 12, 2025

Michael Dewayne Morris, age 66, of Ball Ground, GA passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his residence. Mike grew up in Roswell, Georgia, where he attended Roswell High School. He retired from Prudential Insurance after earning numerous accolades for his exceptional sales career. Following his retirement, Mike continued his work with several other insurance firms until the very end of his professional life.

He was a deeply devoted father who always put his children first, attending every game, practice, or event with unwavering support and pride. As a loving husband, he shared a bond built on trust, compassion, and countless cherished memories. To his friends, he was the definition of loyalty—a steady presence in both good times and bad, always ready with a kind word or helping hand. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void, and he will be profoundly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Mike's greatest joy in life was being known as "Pops," a title he wore proudly. His warmth, humor, and zest for life left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In March 2022, Mike was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He faced this battle with incredible strength and resilience, earning the admiration of all who knew his journey. Determined not to let his family down, Mike fought valiantly, embodying the true spirit of a hero.
