Michael Lamar Moody

Michael Lamar Moody, age 58, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence. He was a member of the Blue Knights and a member of Canton First Baptist. He was a Police Officer for 32 years and was a Veteran of the US Army. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather & friend. He was a man of few words, but had a lot of wisdom. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Sunday, January 31, 2021, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Milner officiating. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2021, and from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home.
