Mary Grace (Gaddis) Thomason

Mary Grace (Gaddis) Thomason, age 88, of Cartersville, GA passed away Monday, October 19, 2026 at Atrium Health Floyd Medical. She was a loving mother & grandmother. She was an activ member of her church whil her health permitted. She spent her life caring for others as a nurse for more than 34 years.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with interment following at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Tate, GA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2026, and from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Wednesday at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by:
Daughter - Mary Ruth Thomason
Son - Jimmy Claude Adam Thomason
Sister - Rebecca Ann Gaddis Beck

Sons - George Travis Thomason & Douglas Lamar Thomason
Grandchildren - James Travis Aaron Thomason & Corey Jared adam Thomason
Daughter - Marie Adelle (Thomason) Dixon
Mother of the Grandchildren - Pamela Luallen Thomason
Sisters - Jacquelyn Gaddis Smithwick & Roberta Cynthia Gaddis Harrington
