Mary Lois Stamey

Mary Lois Jones Stamey, age 76, of Canton, GA passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022. Ms. Stamey was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a long-time employee of Cherokee County School District. In addition to her role as principal's secretary at Dean Rusk Middle School, then Mill Creek Middle School until retirement in 2012, she also served tirelessly as a parent volunteer, room mom, band mom, football mom, and many others, always with a pleasant word and a smile on her face.

A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Friday, March 11, 2022, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday, March 11, 2022, at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by: Husband: Billy Stamey, Father: Clarence Jones and Mother: Annie Bell Jones.
