Mary Ellen LeCroy

Mary Ellen LeCroy, 86, of Marietta, GA, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, after a long illness.  She was born on January 24, 1940, in Gadsden, Alabama, and spent the majority of her life as a loving wife and mother. She was known above all for her unconditional love. She was very skilled in painting, sewing, and quilting. Mary loved spending time with family, putting puzzles together.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Grandson: Jacob LeCroy and the other Grandchildren officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by Father: James Shelton, Mother: Hazel Morris, Brother: Tommy Morris, and Granddaughter: Cora Anne LeCroy

Survivors include:

Husband of 70 years: Dewey Paul LeCroy

Son - Dewey Paul LeCroy, Jr. and wife Sonna

Son - Kenneth Wayne LeCroy and wife Tracy

Grandchildren: Amber Kane (Nathan), Adrian LeCroy (Kaleigh), Jacob LeCroy, Hunter LeCroy (Jordan)

Great Grand Children - 5

Sister - Barbara Jones
