Madissen Elizabeth Lewis

The Ministry of Madissen Elizabeth Lewis began on June 16, 2004, in Snellville, Georgia, born to Christopher S. Lewis and Kimberly Ann Lewis (Cunningham). From the moment of her birth, Madissen was chosen by the Lord to be His servant, bringing His light and love to everyone she encountered. She was called to honor and glorify Him through her life, even in times of suffering. Her presence was a beacon of warmth, compassion, and joy to all who knew her.

Madissen had a deep love for God, her family, and her friends. She was creatively gifted, expressing herself through painting, building with Legos, cross-stitching, and designing houses on her computer. Her passion for beauty extended to all aspects of her life. Madissen also had a profound appreciation for both American and European history, and her favorite show was The Chosen, while Ben-Hur was her favorite movie.

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Madissen’s earthly ministry came to a close. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie David and Mary Alice Cunningham, and her grandfather, Desmond Michael Lewis Sr.

She is survived by her loving parents, Christopher and Kimberly Lewis of Canton, GA; her grandmother, Marjorie E. Lewis of Decatur, GA; her siblings: Malcolm A. Lewis (Jessica) of Decatur, GA, Jordan Pree of Maryland, DeJah K. Turner (Cecil) of Marietta, GA, and Aasiya J. Hayes of Atlanta, GA. Madissen is also survived by her cherished friends, Hadassah Geter and Isabelle Robinson, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family members who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
