Larry Eugene Blalock

Larry Eugene Blalock, age 74, of Canton, GA passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Woodstock Nursing & Rehab Center. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Roswell and attended Milton High School. Mr. Blalock was a carpenter with Local 225 in Atlanta where he helped build Atlanta's Peachtree Plaza and several Atlanta construction projects. His construction projects also included The Mall of Georgia and renovations to Canton Mill Lofts. He enjoyed the beach, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and his loving wife of 54 years. Mr. Blalock played Joseph in the Christmas program and was King of Valentine's Day at the Woodstock Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, on Saturday, October 17, 2015, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Justice officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 16, 2015 at the South Canton Funeral Home.
