John A. Rodgers, age 83, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, September 04, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Rodgers lived in Cherokee County most of his life. He liked to sail, read and watch Nascar. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, September 08, 2015, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Joe McKechnie, and Rev. Stanley Samuel officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, September 07, 2015, at South Canton Funeral Home.
