John Frank Novak, age 85, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, November 2, 2026 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

John was a devoted husband sharing 59 years of marriage with his beloved wife Sharon. He was a proud father to Kristen and John, father-in-law to Stan and Laura, and cherished grandfather to Adrienne and Iris who brought him great joy. His family was always his greatest sense of accomplishment.

John was a n Army veteran and a dedicated businessman who operated a hardware store for 30 years, He will be remembered for his humor, laughter, and countless ways he took care of his family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
