John Oscar Allen

John Oscar Allen, Jr. age 90 passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Mr. Allen was born in Alpharetta, Georgia on November 3,1932, to John Oscar Allen, Sr., and Emma Estelle Mulkey Allen. He lived in Canton and retired from the Fulton County Prison Camp. He later moved to Mitchell, Georgia where he owned a Farm. He was preceded in death by son Rory C. Allen, two brothers, Robert E. Allen and Lee Roy Allen, a sister, Gladys Roberts.

Survivors include son, John O. Allen, III of Mitchell and daughter Donna Faye Nottke of Woodstock, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 12th at South Canton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service hour at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Mableton, Georgia.
