John "Johnny" Adams

John "Johnny" Adams, age 76, of Canton, GA passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Johnny was a loving Husband, Father and PaPa. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. He was a deacon at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. Johnny was a land surveyor for over 20 years and retired from Cherokee County as Chief Appraiser.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Friday, July 5, 2024, from the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. with Rev. Johnny McPherson, Rev. Daryl Bailey and Rev. Matt Lathem officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, July 4, 2024, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Hayden and Ivanee Adams and Brother: Wayne Adams

Survivors include:

Wife - Vicki Adams

Children - John Eric (Amy) Adams, Nathan Lee (Melissa) Adams and Jaime (Ashley) Brock

Grandchildren - McKinley Brock, Jackson Adams, Lee Brock, Cooper Adams, Ashlyn Brock, Landen Adams, Eva Adams and Luke Adams

Brothers & Sisters - Betty Adams, R. H. Adams and Billy Adams

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other Family and Friends also survive.
