Jim Philyaw

James A. Philyaw aka: Jim aka: Jimmy, age 80, of Woodstock formerly of Tate, GA died Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Hidden Lakes Assisted Living. Jim was a graduate of Geogia College. He then served in the Army Reserve and National Guard. Jim worked at Lockheed Martin for most of his career as a quality control manager. Per his request, he will be cremated and there will be no service. Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Young Philyaw, his parents Orion and Stella Philyaw, and brother William H. Philyaw. Jim is survived by: Sister -- Frankie Eubanks of Tennessee Brother -- John (Eulalie) Philyaw of Dawsonville Niece – Debbie Eubanks of Tennessee Nephew – David Eubanks of Tennessee Sister-in-law – Judy DeBord of Canton Brother-in-law – J.H. (Joan) Young of Marietta Nephew -- Cary (Elizabeth) Silver of Canton Niece – Daina (Mike) Holland of Canton Niece -- Kim (Andy) Cole of Marietta Great Nieces -- Michaela Holland, Rylee Holland, and Lauren Silver Great Nephew – Landon Silver And other friends and family.
