Jetty Mincey

Jetty Louise Mincey (Presley), age 85, passed away on Tuesday September 17th at her home in Canton, GA. Jetty was raised in Jackson County Georgia· and met the love of her life, Hubert at work where they spent the next 40+ years together both at work and home. Jetty cherished her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She stayed active attending church, sporting events, crocheting with her friends, traveling and special events involving her family. After retiring from the USDA, she volunteered as a children's advocate with CASA of Cherokee County.

Jetty was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Mincey, her parents, Leon and Emma Presley, Sr., her brothers, Henry Presley, John B Presley, Leon (Buck) Presley, Jr. and her sister, Mildred McDaris

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Lisa Mincey of Canton, her daughter and son-in-law Tina and Mike Greenway of Dallas.

Her grandchildren Caynon Greenway (Patricia), Dixie Payne (Robert), Jessica Mincey (Chris Womack), Adam Mincey (Kelsey) and Cody Greenway.

She has 5 great-grandchildren, Alexis Payne, Gabe Payne, Celeste Greenway, Eli Sheffield and Scarlett Sheffield.

Two sisters also survive, Margaret Woodall of Gainesville and Peggy Allen of Hoschton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, September 20th at 2:00 pm at the chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Gaddis and Rev. Danny Smith officiating.

Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 19th from 2:00-8:00 pm and on Friday September 20th from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.

Serving as pallbearers will be Caynon Greenway, Adam Mincey, Cody Greenway, Robert Payne, Chris Womack, Gabe Payne and Eli Sheffield.
