Jeffrey Scott Ricketts

Mr. Jeffrey S. Ricketts, age 57, of Marietta, GA, passed at home Tuesday, July 09,

2024. Visitation for friends and extended family will take place from 5:00-9:00

PM, Monday, July 15th and July 16th from 11 AM-1PM at South Canton Funeral

Home in Canton, followed by his Funeral Service at 1:00 PM in the same location.

Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Cemetery in Marietta, Ga.

Mr. Ricketts was born at Kennestone hospital in 1966 and a native of Marietta,

Ga. He graduated from North Cobb High School in 1985. He went on to start a

successful Logistics Company as well as several other wholesale ventures. He

grew up as a member of County Line Methodist Church. He was known for his

unwaivering love for his family, friends, Rock & Roll Music, unmatched work ethic,

and negotiating a good deal. We will all miss his mischievious spirit, playful banter,

incomparable determination, and loving nature. To many of us, there will never be

another person that brought as many smiles and joy to the world as he did.

Survivors include his children, Taylor Ricketts of Ellijay, GA; Deidra Ricketts

Toache and spouse, Jason Toache of Canton, GA; Bonus Son-Mebrahtu (Mo) Gobena

of Reno, NV; Siblings, Melissa Ricketts Attridge, Spouse William Attridge and son

Will Attridge of Marietta, GA; Greg Ricketts, Spouse Holly Ricketts, and sons

Zachary & Jebb Ricketts of Canton, GA; Christopher Ricketts and Spouse Rachel

Ricketts of Jasper, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Jeffrey S. Ricketts’

memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
