In Loving Memory of Jason Keith Cheshire
Jason Keith Cheshire (“Chestnut”), age 47, of Ball Ground, GA passed away in a tragic accident on
Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Jason was a wonderful, loving husband, father, stepfather, son, son-in-law, and friend. He was a very hard-working man who started his landscaping business, The Panicle Group, at the age of 20. He created many beautiful landscapes all over North Georgia and Atlanta until his passing. He also was an arborist for 20+ years. Jason loved country music and was an accomplished guitarist, writing songs, playing with musicians in Nashville, and playing music for his family. He enjoyed bass fishing and loved being on the lake when he had the chance. Baseball was his favorite. Growing up, Jason played ball at Pickens High School and he later umpired ball games and became a great coach. Jason adored his children, family, and friends and he loved talking to people. He never met a stranger, and he could tell some stories that HAD stories - and everyone loved him for it.
Jason leaves behind a continuing legacy, including his wife, three daughters, stepson, and a beagle named Gibson. Jason was a member at Sharp Mountain Baptist Church where he was saved and baptized. He fully believed we all have a greater purpose when our job here is done.
