James M. Atkins

James M. Atkins, age 74, of Jasper, GA passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and had a deep love for them. He served as a Sunday School teacher, song leader, youth leader, choir member & friend. As much as he loved his church, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. He had a wonderful love for love, for life & laughter. James always knew how to get a smile from anyone. He was never without a great story, funny joke or prank. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from the Liberty Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Collett, Rev. David Byess and Rev. Casey Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, June 28, 2021, and from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at South Canton Funeral Home.
