Hugh Ray

Hugh Ray, age 74, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. He enjoyed playing softball and played with the Cherokee County Senior Softball League. Hugh loved bowling with his grandchildren and woodworking. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, from the Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Padgett and Rev. Terry Caylor officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, August 17, 2020, and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at South Canton Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by, Parents: Horace and Ida Ray, Daughter-In-Law: Amanda Ray, 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters, Father-In-Law: James Sanford Survivors include: Wife - Janie Ray Son - Kyle (Karen) Ray Son - Kasey Ray Grand Daughters - Emma, Sophie and Lola Ray Grand Son - Garrett Ray Sister - Jean (Marvin) Cagle Nieces, Nephews, Family, Cousins and other Friends also survive.
