Howard Jay Millsapp, age 88, of Acworth, GA passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at The Retreat at Canton. Mr. Millsapp was born in Powder Springs, GA on February 1, 1936.
Howard was a very kind, loving, and giving man. He would do anything he could to help another person. He was a man of his word; someone you could reliably depend on. Howard never met a stranger and made friends easily wherever he went. Family was everything to Howard. His love and concern for his family endured right up to the end of his life.
Howard worked at Unique Knitting Mills in Acworth, GA most of his life. After leaving Unique, Howard joined with his brother, Luther Millsapp, to start up and run L & H Hosiery in Acworth. He retired from the Cobb County School system
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Monday, December 2, 2024, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor John Benning officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 1, 2024, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday, December 2, 2024 at South Canton Funeral Home.
