Grady Lamar Roberts

Grady Lamar Roberts, age 81, of Jasper, GA, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Jasper Point Nursing Home in Jasper, Georgia. Lamar was of the Baptist faith and attended Hopewell Baptist Church in the Clayton Community most of his life. He worked as a machinist, tool and die designer, draftsman, and junior engineer in Poultry Agribusiness.

Lamar enjoyed many outdoor hobbies, including woodworking projects, photography, and oil painting. He obtained a black belt in Taekwondo in his early years. Lamar loved spending time with his family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2025, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2025, and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025, at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, G. B. and Margaret Roberts, and his son, Chad Roberts

Survivors include:

Son - Paul Roberts and wife Dana

Son - Michael Roberts

Grandson - Liam Roberts

Step Grandson - Nathan Hunter Luce

Ex-Wife: Audrey Cochran Roberts
