In Loving Memory: Glen David Stites
Glen, a loving father, a man of faith, and valiant military member, passed away on July 6th, 2023. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his loved ones, but his legacy of faith, love, humor, and dedication will forever be cherished.
Born on January 9th 1946, Glen grew up with a strong sense of duty and honor. Serving his country in the United Stites National Guard, Glen was a Sergant Major and displayed unwavering loyalty to his his nation. His unwavering dedication to protecting the values he held dear earned him the respect and admiration of all who served alongside him.
But beyond his military service, Glen cherished his family above all else. As a devoted father, he stressed the importance of integrity, humility, and faith, and shaping them into individuals of strong character.
He was a man of many words, wisdom, and talent. Glen never met a stranger and had a heart that overflowed with love and compassion. His big presence, warm smile, and hilarious gestures brought together those around him. He was always there to lend a helping hand or provide a listening ear, offering guidance and support to anyone in need.
As we bid farewell to Glen, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the immeasurable impact he had on all who knew him. Again, his unwavering faith, devotion to family, and selfless service to his country serve as a testament to the remarkable person he was.
Glen Stites is survived by his beloved children David and Marcy, and a host of family members, friends, and comrades whose lives have been forever touched by his presence.
While we mourn the loss of our dear Glen Stites, we take solace in knowing that he has found eternal peace in the embrace of his Heavenly Father. May his legacy continue to inspire us all to live with love, faith, and selflessness, just as he did.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:30 PM, on Monday, July 17, 2023, from the Georgia National Cemetery with Pastor Ken May officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
