George F. Satterfield

George F. Satterfield, age 92, of Canton, GA, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Rock Creek Manor. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He was a past President of the Macedonia Community Club. He was the Owner/Operator of Western-Sizzlin Steak House and a loyal member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Caylor and Rev. Brad Ramey officiating. Interment will follow at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 71 years, Bonnie Satterfield

Survivors include:

Son - Stanley L. Satterfield and wife Barbara

Daughter - Cheriyl Padgett and husband Wayne

Daughter - Kristiena Walker and husband, Trey

Grandchildren - Amy Jusak (Scott), Tracy Bedgood (Jamie), Hannah Newton Ford, Dorothy Ingebrigtsen (Jeff),

Great Grandchildren - Hunter Bedgood, Taylor Bedgood, Kennedi Newton, and Gabbie Ingebrigtsen

Great Great Grandchildren - Luke Walker, Levi Walker, and Winston Williamson

Sister-in-law - Olga Satterfield

Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other Family and Friends also survive.
