Geneva Mae Atkins

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Geneva Mae Atkins, born on September 5th, 1934, who peacefully left us on December 7th, 2023. She is survived by her loving children, Larry Atkins, Randy Atkins (Pam Atkins), Beverly Campbell (George Campbell), as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Atkins-Turner (Matt Turner), Jason Atkins (Karen Atkins), and Veronica Swann (Traci Swann). Geneva also leaves behind great-grandchildren Alyssa Lynn Foss (Avery Foss), Zachary Eugene Atkins, Emili Madison Atkins, and great-great-grandchild Dustin Walker Foss.

Siblings: Mildred Taylor, Bonnie Millians, Dorthy Jean Bennett, Louis Bennett and Jerry Bennett.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Atkins. Parents Mr. And Mrs. Herbert Z. Bennett, Siblings: James Bennett and Claud Bennett.

Geneva will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. She had a great sense of humor, loved to travel the world, always loved to share many fond memories with family and friends from their property in Sparta Georgia. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM from the

Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken May officiating.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Hour here at the South Canton Funeral Home.

Geneva will be laid to rest with her husband on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 @ 10:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
