G. T. Burnett, age 89, of Acworth, GA passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. G. T. was an ordained Deacon at New Hightower Baptist Church in Canton, Ga. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Sunday, February 14, 2021, from the New Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Wheeler, Rev. Bryan Prance, Rev. Bobby McFarland and Rev. David Abernathy officiating. Interment will follow at New Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Army. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 until 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the South Canton Funeral Home. Survivors include: Wife - Betty Mulkey Burnett Daughter - Vicky (Andrew) Hughes Daughter - Debbie (Hollis) Brock Grandchildren - 4 Great Grand Children - 7 Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
