Eva Lucille Cloud

Eva Lucille Cloud, 85, of Canton, Georgia passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Eva was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who put family above all else. She was a talented musician who played both piano and guitar. She was also a gifted seamstress and made most of her children’s clothes in their younger years. In mid-life, she became an artist, painting with both oil and acrylic, and a creative maker who enjoyed selling her creations at craft shows. She was an avid reader, going through several books every week, and built a huge library that she cherished. She was a champion for her family.

She encouraged her children and grandchildren in whatever they were facing and was always there to listen, give advice, and be supportive. She had an especially close bond with her oldest grandson, who was born with a developmental disability. The devotion and love she gave him was unwavering, and she made a remarkable difference in his life. Her greatest joy was having her family together, and she often used her talented cooking skills to bring everyone to the table. She was truly the heart

of our family, and she will be missed every day.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Ken May officiating.

* A private family interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.*

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Freeman Cloud, Jr., her mother Vera Lucille Beck, and father Andrew Beck.

She is survived by her daughters Trena (Cloud) Crowe, and Tina (Cloud) Wells, her son-in-law Mark Crowe, grandchildren Marcus Crowe, Garrett Crowe (Tiffany Wright) and Sheena Crowe, great-grandchildren, Levi Cronan, Deagan Crowe, Emerson Crowe, and Everlee Crowe.
