Ernest Joe Mcdaris

Ernest Joe McDaris, age 94, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at his residence. Ernest was a member of G.O. Church in Ball Ground, Ga.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery in Jasper.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Wife: Opal McDaris, Parents: John and Leora Carroll, Son: Gary Gene McDaris, Brothers: Oscar, Earl, Lawrence, Frank and Fred, Sisters: Edna and Jewel

Survivors include:

Son - Jerry Anthony McDaris and wife Linda

Daughter - Sharon Watt

Sister - Frances Herndon

Grandchildren - Julie, Karen, Jeffrey, Michael, Amy, Kristi, Heather and Jennifer

Great Grand Children - Veronica, Leora, Baylee, Camden, Lucas, Mason, Ella, Macey, Harper, Jordan and Morgan

Great Great Grandchildren - 1. Audrey, 2. Ashton and 3-Is on the way!

Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and other Family also survive.
