Doug K. Watson, age 80, of Canton, GA, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Harris Senior Living.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael McPherson and Rev. Adam Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery in Waleska, Georgia.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 2, 2026; from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026; and from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Hour on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wife: Mary Pharr Watson

Survivors include:

Daughter & Son-in-law - Star Johnson (Travis)

Grandson - Ross Johnson (Mattie)

Granddaughter - Taylor Almonte (Andy)

Great-grandchildren - Maclellan and Harrison Almonte

Brother - Melvin Watson (Deborah)
