Don Bowdin

Don Bowdin, age 86, of Canton, GA. passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his residence. He mostly farmed and worked at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He moved to Georgia and managed a large hog operation for Haley Farms. After the hog farm closed, he started a new career in water management. He retired from Cherokee County Water Authority at the age of 79.

Funeral services are scheduled for a later date in Samson, Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Margie and Roy Bowdin, Daughter: Donna Bowdin, Step-Son: Jim Williams

Survivors include:

Wife - Shirley Bowdin

Son - Kris Bowdin

Step-Daughter - Kim Henderson and husband Skip

Grandchildren - Cara Morris and husband Philip, Brooke, Bree and Peyton Henderson and Ashlea Williams

Great Grand Children - Lincoln, Harper and Beau Morris, Kingston Henderson and Ja' Micheal Brown

Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and other Family also survive.
