Cora Goodwin, age 88, of Canton, GA, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Tower Road Acute Nursing and Rehabilitation in Marietta.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Mattie Carter; her husband: Bobby Lee Goodwin; her grandson: Charlie Mathis; and Several Siblings

Survivors include:

Son - Donald Goodwin

Daughter - Carol Davison (Joey)

Daughter - Shirley Mathis (Doug)

Grandchildren - 7

Great-grandchildren - 16

Great-great-grandchildren - 1
