Chester Solomon Welchel

Mr. Chester Welchel passed from this life onto the next surrounded by his family and friends at his home in Jasper, GA on September 5, 2024. Chester was known for his love of cars and ability to fix anything he put his hands on. He loved his family and friends, that he considered family as well. He fought a battle during the last 4 months of his life and came out a winner either way.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Pastor Dottie Williams, Rev. Todd Welchel, and Rev. Tracy Welchel officiating. Interment will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024, and from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Sunday, September 8, 2024 at South Canton Funeral Home.

Sister & Brother-in-law - Gladys "Radio" Blalock (Fred)
