Billy Ray Matthews

Billy Ray Matthews, age 89, of Woodstock, GA passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. He was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. Mr. Matthews retired in 1997 after 43 years with Lockheed Martin. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Hickory Flat for 20+ years. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Saturday, May 15, 2021, from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Honors by the United States Air Force. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Mt.
