Betty Carney Hodges, age 85, of Canton, GA passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Moose Lodge, Red Hat Society and Telephone Pioneers of America Newcomer's Service. She was a Pink Lady at R. T. Jones Hospital and enjoyed bingo. Graveside Services are scheduled for 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from the Cherokee Memorial Park. Preceded in death by: Parents: Dewey & Ina Carney Survivors include: Son - Jimmy Dowd Son - Billy (Monica) Dowd Daughter - Brenda (Miles) Heath Daughter - Sandra (Tony) Smith Sister - Marell Wallace 7 Grandchildren 6 Great Grand Children 1 Great Great Grand Child Several Nieces & Nephews also survive South Canton Funeral Home, dedicated to the families we serve, 770-479-3377.
