Betty Sue Burnett (Mulkey)

Betty Sue Burnett, age 93, of Acworth, GA, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from the New Hightower Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Prance, Rev. Thomas Wheeler, and Rev. Trevor Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at New Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, August 18, 2025, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, August 19, 2025, and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the South Canton Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Laura Mulkey; Husband: G. T. Burnett; Grandson: Jody Hughes; Siblings, Clyde Mulkey, Monroe Mulkey, Beatrice Wilson, Inez Davis, Hazel Fountain, and Ethel Cashin

Survivors include:

Daughter - Debra (Hollis) Brock

Daughter - Vicky (Drew) Hughes

Grandchildren - Jeremy (Katie) Hughes, Joshua (Julie) Smith, and Katie (Ben) Beauchene,

Great Grand Children - Cody Hughes, Hailey Day, Landyn Hughes, Sadie Hughes, Berkley Hughes, Callie and Emma Smith

Brother - J. C. (Vivian) Mulkey
